Enjoyed this crossword RedSetter. Had to reveal 1d but it raised a smile! Favourites 12d and 16a, and 8a after the reveal of 1d. Thanks.

Thanks RedSetter for a fun crossword. I enjoyed many clues including 21a, 2d, 3d, 6d, 14d, and 15d. I had to reveal 1d & 8a (too cryptic for me) & I thought 4d wasn't cryptic enough. I couldn't make sense of the surface of 9a but I got the solution nonetheless. All in all a nice 2nd effort.
