Special Instructions: Cryptic. Across answers are to be entered such that the last letter of an answer overlaps (and is necessarily the same) as the first letter of the next answer in the same row (e.g. if answers are CAT, TOAD and DOG, enter CATOADOG). Clues in across rows are given in correct order left to right. The overlapping letters spell a cluephrase for a final answer. Down clues behave normally.

How brilliant is this?! A proper puzzle with some great cluing as well... Faves 12d, 1a (no3) in regards to the no-longer FC Bury, 20a (2), 1d, etc. Perhaps there are a couple of areas where you could do with a better surface, but honestly no complaints man. This is brilliant!

Very clever ! Honestly all the across sets were very neat and I also liked 7d,11d,16d. I got a phrase from the overlapping letters, but it means nothing to me. It would be good to see your explanations, if possible
