Thanks Guava, I struggled with some of this, until I got more accustomed to your style as I back parsed after solving from crossers. Some nice touches but a few quibbles here and there as well. I did find many of the clues too long although your annotations do make everything clear

Thanks for sharing this puzzle. I reckon the most successful clues are 15a and 18d, as the wordplay doesn’t draw a lot of immediate attention while also feeling like plausible phrases…
