Thanks Henri, another very fitting tribute and some cracking clues given the time constraints - 32a, 16d and 19d my favourites.

I saw the exchange between you and Skirwingle so knew what to expect, if not necessarily the precise elements. Most of which I did not recognise for what they were but that's just GK. You are becoming our resident speed setter! Given the constraints it's not surprising it felt Jaspa-esque but that is no criticism. 4a, 12a, 32a, 8d, 16d and 24d my faves. Thanks. PM

Fantastic as always. Incredible that you did it that fast. I completely missed the theme, my guess was <spoilers in reply>

Thanks Henri for an impressive crossword. I needed to reveal 1a, 14d, and the nho 16d but all else fell into place with 23a, 32a, 3d, 25d, and 27d. More in reply.

Persistence paid off! It was like playing with bricks, patiently fitting stuff together for ultimate success - classic Henri I think. Faves were the 1d/26a pair - very nice! Also really liked 11a,14a,32a (hilarious surface) and 7d, 22d - so neat - 24d ...

Impressive work Henri, particularly given the constraint. Needless to say, the theme was lost on me although I spotted a fragment of it once I had a complete grid. Favourites: 4a, 29a, 32a, 3d and 16d.
