Cryptic crossword No 2,510

Thanks Cigogne. Phew, that was tough! Took me a few visits and, in the end, a number of reveals. Nicely worked theme although it was more a hindrance than a help for me! Some lovely stuff in here, though. I particularly enjoyed the two shavers in 2d (not sure Alaskan is req’d btw - see Chambers) and 16d plus 11a, 23a, 27a and21d (albeit one of my reveals). Spoilers …
