This turned out to be pretty tricky, ALP. Pretty fair, on the whole, with hindsight though a few left field defs held me up at the end. Some very amusing surfaces in there. Faves include 6a, 12a, 16a, 1d, 7d, 19d and 23d but there were plenty more I could tick. Good job. Thanks. PM

Plenty of laughs several groans and a couple of grrs (as per usual). Glad I saw the stream as it was way more fun to watch Panthera struggle than it would have been to just solve on my own. Podium is 16A (lovely clue!) then 22A for the brilliant surface and finally the solidly clued 20D. Lastly thanks for the fun but for blind partner's sake please don't try another 12A without an indicator!

Classic ALP fare, thanks (I think) - brilliant, outrageous and crazy in roughly equal proportions! The top half slipped in relatively smoothly but much of the bottom half left me mystified and had to be revealed. I think that a combination of your notes and Google have explained everything. Favourites: 1a, 12a (I barely noticed the naughtiness of this as the crossers got me to the answer relatively smoothly), 24a, 1d (just as good the second time round), 3d and 19d. Spoiler ...
