Haha that is your best yet, what a construction! It's one of those where "the grid's the star" first and foremost, though there were also some fine clues in there, like 14a, 4d and 22d. It seems churlish to quibble about a few obscure words in the circumstances! Additional comments/questions in the reply. Thanks!

Thanks tpg, that's by far your best crossword to date. My top picks were 10a, 14a, 24a, 25a, 6d, 16d (my fav), and 18d. I revealed 17a, 1d, and 22d, the last two unknown to me. More in reply.

Thanks TPG, you certainly set yourself a challenge with this one and it made for a fun stream earlier. I genuinely found this harder than today's Azed. You already saw where I thought a tweak might help so I'll just pick my favourites which were 10A, 20A, 2D, 6D and 16D.

Hi tpg, just dropping after watching the recording of Panthera solving this, having failed fairly miserably when I tried. If only I’d spotted the … well, you know! Quite a feat of construction and I agree it’s your best puzzle yet, albeit too tough for me. Podium places to 14a, 22a and 2d.
