Cryptic crossword No 2,366

Thanks Flashling. I found this rather more approachable than your last puzzle but still needed a few reveals at the end. Some very nice ideas. In a few cases, a lack of precision still gets in the way slightly. I’ll expand in a reply later. Podium: 11a, 13a and 21d

I'd agree with Coot that this wasn't *quite* as tricky as its predecessor but there were still some with which I struggled until all the crossers were in place. Faves almost identical to Coot: 11a, 13a and 21d plus 20a which was LOI and raised a rueful grin when the penny finally dropped. Thanks. PM

Thanks both of you, the points you raise are fair and reflect my problems largely where I had a good idea but making a valid surface and clue getting tenses and plurals to match was difficult
