Thanks Henri, that was smooth sailing. My favourites were 8a, 16a, 20a, 7d, and 27d. I needed your notes to parse 11a and 12d. More to follow.

Thanks, Henri. I came close to my goal of 50% and did indeed get to the end (with lots of letter checks). I just loved 17d for some reason -- and also 15d, 3d, the 16a def, and what a surface on 21a! A challenge for sure but super fun, thanks.

Well that was fun! I bludgeoned my way to the end and didn't parse some, but a week ago I wouldn't even have attempted this, so many thanks again. The surface of 8 made me laugh. Only too true

Watched this on CS, having not had time to get to it beforehand. Very nicely done indeed. And quite amusing to see the overlaps with mine own!

Jolly good fun Henri, a cute concept carried off with aplomb. Solved most of it myself and enjoyed watching the CS stream for the rest. Faves include 8a (neat, fun surface), 16a (simple and effective), 1d (very neat, was half-expecting a lift&sep/inverse abbreviations), 7d (delightful) and 26d (nice) - thanks for the puzzle!

Nice one, thanks Henri. I found this tricky at first but persevered and it all fell in rather satisfyingly in the end. Favourites were 8a, 21a, 3d, 7d and 27d.

Rather late to the party Henri, but glad I showed up in the end. Found it slightly trickier than your recent puzzles - needed a bit of e-help to get over the line. Lots of great stuff as per. Favourites: 8a (COTD), 11a, 7d (great spot!), 15d and 27d.
