Very smoothly put together, Angel. Same experience as Henri - but I found I was able to accurately guess the ones I hadn't previously heard of. Funny, that. Faves for me inc 8a, 10a, 17a, 24a, 30a, 3d, 4d, 16d and 27d. Thanks. PM

Really enjoyed this thank you - great start to my week off - although I am still stuck on two of them, I’ll get there! At least one I am sure I will kick myself on! 23D is cleverly misdirected - I achieved something similar myself recently and it was a tester’s LOI which made my day! 😂 Favourites for me, although lots of other good ones, were 3D, 6D, 7D and 19A

Lovely stuff Angel, thanks for a smooth and entertaining solve. Theme was nho but from the comments I suspect I'm missing out and should rectify that at some point. Faves include 9a (neat, I spent some time clueing this word recently and much prefer your approach), 13a (smooth), 4d (nicely done), 6d (very neat), 18d&20d (both neat and nicely linked) and 21d (very neat) - thanks for the puzzle!

Nice one! Perfectly pitched and just libertarian enough for me to properly enjoy. A little tougher than your usual fare which I think is an improvement. 17A takes gold for me. Only one that foxed me was the England player. Solved from the def but couldn't parse it without google. My knowledge in that area is seriously lacking. Thanks.
