Cryptic crossword No 2,231

Thanks Dave, that was great, with varied inventive clueing. Straightforward clues to get started then trickier ones to get your teeth into. Faves were 14a, 26a, 7d and 21d. LOI 10a.

Thanks Dave, that was excellent. The NE was the last to fall for me and one of my favs, 11a, unlocked it for me. Other ticks went to 14a (took me forever to see), 15a (COTD), 23a, 24a (!), 4d, 7d, 18d, and 19d. Nice job overall.

Late to comment on this Dave, having solved it a few days ago. Lots of fun as always. A few raised eyebrows - if you've watched the solve on Cryptic Sunday you will probably guess where they were. Favourites: 11a, 20a, 23a (despite the twitchy eyebrows - it was clear enough!), 7d, 16d and 18d. Thanks!

Like Coot, I'm very late to this, Dave but it appears to have gone down well on CS though I did not see the stream this week. Some very creative cluing and quite approachable. I ended up with everything solved and parsed which is generally a good sign. Likes inc 8a, 9a, 15a, 20a, 4d, 7d, 16d and 18d. Thanks. PM
