Cryptic crossword No 2,180

A very enjoyable grid! Most clues went in fairly easily, though I got a little caught up on 11a, 12a and 23a and eventually threw in the towel with 22d and 25a unsolved. Excellent work.

I had fun - and got lost in the weeds with some of your misdirections! Have to admit I needed Google for one or two references outside my ken. A workout indeed, thanks!
