Quirky. E.g 11a, 16a and 14a which I had to reveal ultimately. 2d good, 5d I needed help but it’s true, 10a like. Is the y doing double duty in 18d? I checked but faithful is not exactly half-concealed? 17d seems fair enough. Good misdirection, I think. 13a a little obscure but others might get it. 3d ditto but I read the annotations so I get your intention. Know the musicians but not their hat colour so my bad. Loi 20d was good and perhaps a trademark clue. Thanks for the puzzle. Maybe 2d tops.

Thanks for this 'other tpg'. Worth it for 8d which is my favourite clue. A number of others, I did struggle bit to understand. If you have time to drop in and explain 5d, I'd be appreciative. It's not a phrase I recognise or a clue I can fathom. Thanks. PM

Thanks tpg. I think this is a big improvement. I liked 9a, 19a, 22a, 2d, 17d, and 21d. I revealed 3d and 14a. I needed your notes to understand 6d. More in reply.

Thanks for this, Tpgrammar. 2d, 20d and 21d my favourites. The GK beat me in some, particularly 14a and 19a. 24a almost sent me mad - just came at it from the wrong angle, but got there eventually!
