Cryptic crossword No 2,156

I liked this a lot! Top for me were 1a (very satisfying as each piece clicked into place), 12a (so clever) and 12a (made me smile!). The dishonest bloke was another neat joke (FOI) and 7d another that clicked satisfyingly into focus. Thank you!

Well this was a joyous romp, tpg. (We now have to accommodate TWO tpg's of course and you are side by side right now!) I enjoyed your surfaces and your constructions.
