Special Instructions: Second puzzle published. As I've discovered, it's not easy producing a full grid of sound clues, but the kind comments on my first puzzle encouraged me to produce another!

Well done on another cool puzzle, Avid. Some cunning ideas in here and a few very tricky ones to unravel. Lots to like with particular faves being 11a, 12a, 20a, 24a, 5d, 7d and 14d. Thanks. PM

Nice one Avid, thanks. I found this very much as PM describes and would have had much the same feedback, particularly in relation to the two extremely long clues. Podium: 20a, 22a and 5d. Spoilers ...

Again belated thanks for a fun puzzle! A brave grid choice with the long ‘uns but overall you pulled it off. Liked 10a, 12a, 15a, 5d and 17d. Shorter clues and evocative surfaces made for the best clues here. Previous commenters notes all have some merit but they’re all things we’ve all done, especially in the first few puzzles 😆 some spoilery additional notes in the reply ->
