Cryptic crossword No 2,068

Hi lidbanger. I had a go at this, but found it pretty unsolvable by and large (by which I mean following the typical cryptic rules didn't get me to answers), so had to reveal grid. I've made a few general points below.

I was quite chuffed to end up with a filled grid with only one reveal for the nho 9a. That said, as Avid has observed, following the usual cryptic rules did not work so there was a fair amount of guesswork as to what devices you were using and, in some case, as to what you had in mind for a definition. Quite a lot of missing indicators, particularly for anagrams. Did you fill in Annotations? It would be helpful to see them if you did (you can choose to do so in Solution Settings). Cont...
