As you were last to comment on mine, it seems apt that I am first to comment on yours, ALP. I thought this was very good. I like your surfaces a lot - you know they mean a lot to me - and they are hiding some pretty solid constructions. Thanks Alp for a great set of clues. My favs were 6a, 11a (nho Farage though), 23a, 4d, 8d, 15d, 18d, 20d, and 22d. I revealed 17a, 19a (nho English winger), and 2d (I'm ashamed of myself!). I needed your notes to parse 9a, 26a (nho war correspondent), 21d (Keys a mystery). More in reply.

Late to this but glad I came. It took me a few visits, mind - the NW corner held out longest. Some marvellous clues as already noted by others, my podium being 13a, 14a and 5d. Thanks!
