Well, I found that quite tricky in places (and unfortunately had to reveal a few). Definitely some good clues in there though - the brilliant 1a was my favourite, but I also liked 9a, 21a, 3d, 19d (good spot!) and 24d. Some suggestions though…

Welcome back Dingo. I found much to like here, with particular favourites 1a, 27a(!), 28a, 1d, 5d, 7d, 24d among others. I agree with yogdaws that it was a bit tricky in places and I needed a few letter reveals to make progress, esp in NW quadrant. Some difficulties came from cunning wordplay, so fair cop, but some others from technical issues or just a bit too tricksy. I’ll comment further in reply, but just to reiterate a mostly very enjoyable solve, with some super surfaces - so thanks!
