I agree with Hex. This is certainly your best one yet; I liked 6a, 9a, 13a, 19a, 28a, 29a, 2d, 6d, and especially 22a. Your surfaces are definitely getting better, though you could make more use of the fact that conventionally you can put in misleading punctuation that makes the surface read better. I think you need to pay careful attention to grammar, because this lets down one or two otherwise good clues. Specific (spoilery) thoughts in replies

Hi Shane, this is the first of your puzzles I've seen, so I have nothing to compare this to. There is certainly bags of creativity and a sentence like "Normalcy with banjaxed suet haul" is one one is only likely to encounter once in a lifetime 😆! Good on you!
