Hi Shane. In my opinion this is an improvement on your previous puzzle, though there are still some things to work on. Keep thing the clues simple has made an improvement. I liked 23a, 20d, 16d. More specific feedback in replies

Thanks Shane. I agree with Dyno that your puzzles are definitely getting better - I enjoyed 7a, 10a, 13d, 18d & 20d from this set. Also agree with Dyno’s comments on issues that could be further improved. The balancing act we’re all engaged in is creating succinct surfaces that make sense in themselves, while also giving unambiguous cryptic instructions for the solution. Thank you Shane. I agree with OzP and Dyno that this puzzle is an advance - I liked 9a, 12a, 14a, 23a, 20d. The big issue, as others have said, continues to be that a lot of the surfaces make no sense - but then if this exercise was easy it wouldn't be worth persevering with. Spoilers in reply
