Thanks! It took me a few visits, a little bit of e-help and a couple of selective reveals but I got there! Some chewy clues but it all checks out. I do love the boldness of starting with a 15-letter 1a 😆 and 12d was very cheeky but it raised a smile here. Spoiler in reply ->

Great fun, Cormac, although to my irritation I was defeated by 1a and 3d. Much very enjoyable cluing, my personal favourites being 25a, 27a, 12d and 20d. Like Henri, I completely missed the theme; but the excellence of your puzzle is that missing the theme actually didn't matter.

Thanks Cormac, I found this tricky but enjoyable. Never would have seen the theme but well done for working in all the entries. Particular favourites were 9a, 10a, 23a, 12d (in general I'm not sure about such clues, but this is well done) and 22d.

Enjoyed that!

Thanks Cormac. Despite complete ignorance of the theme I liked this with 14a, 21a, 23a, 2d, 18d, and my LOI, 12d being my top picks. I was ready to yell 'unfair' about 12d until I got it --- then it became a favourite. Funny how that works!
