Solid and sweet! 5A and 12A were my favourites for the way the surfaces tell a story.

Thanks Gennaro. Pretty approachable overall with some nice clues. Certainly a bit gentler than your last one. I appreciated 11a, 13a, 25a, 3d, 15d, 17d among others. Your trademark trick helped with the last couple in the bottom half. A little more discussion in reply, spoilers…

Nice one Gennaro, thanks. I found this quite a bit easier than your previous puzzle, not least because the 8d and the associated statement became apparent fairly quickly. The central component of 22a was new to me. Favourites: 5a, 18a, 3d, 8d and 17d.

Thanks, Gennaro. Yes, easier than your last but enjoyable still. I forgot about the Nina but was able to finish without the extra help. Favourites were 5a, 5d, 2d, 12a, 25a and 20d...
