This was fun! A rapid shove for me, under 5 minutes. I thought the themers particularly neat and enjoyable. Quite heavy on the anagrams and acrostics, which made it very approachable but a little more variety or spicy charading might have been fun. Thanks!

A quick but enjoyable fill for me too, thank you! Liked 9a, 10a, 11a, 15a, 12d, 22d. ...

That was enjoyable, though I didn't know 2d or the first half of 11a which meant it was a DNF for me. Particularly liked 1a, 14a, 25a, 27a, 4d. Could have wished that you'd run further with the gentle snark of 25a, 27a and 4d, perhaps, but that's really just me saying "Please let it be over!"

A fairly gentle solve, well clued but as Mallimack observes a limited range of devices. Some good spots with the fodder. My podium 13a, 15a, 27a, 7d, 12d with thanks!

I enjoyed this, thanks. Fairly gentle, and I agree with others on the range of devices, but for someone like me who's not that strong a solver, it's nice to finish one!

Ha1 I saw Mallimack's comment and thought, goodness - that's fast solving. And then did the same myself. As far as I can see, this is your debut puzzle on which many congratulations. In which case, finding your feet is totally acceptable in my book and anagrams/acrostics are a solid way in. Maybe spice it up some next time around? 10a, 6d and 12d are my podium. Thanks. PM
