Cryptic crossword No 1,797

Thanks Natrix. That was certainly no pushover for me. A wide range of challenge in the clues. I particularly enjoyed 11a(!), 20a, 25a, 13d & 17d. A couple of nhos or more obscure usages held me up, but I got there in the end. A bit more discussion in reply, spoilers…
