Thanks Amoeba, that was great fun with 26a, 28a, 6d, 14d, 19d, and 30d being among my top picks.

Lovely stuff Amoeba, thanks - a very satisfying puzzle to solve. I made good progress yesterday evening before becoming stuck in the NE (despite a leg up with one of them 😏). Returning to it now, it all worked out nicely. Favourites: 8a, 14a, 28a, 3d, 4d, 18d and 21d.

Very nice way to spend part of Friday lunchtime, given my afternoon meeting has just been cancelled! Lovely. Gentle for the most part but with some nicely hidden definitions (esp LOI 17a). Faves include: 8a, 14a, 16a, 17a, 24a, 28a, 31a, 32, 6d, 7d, 22d and 24d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Fabulous - really liked 14a, 16a, 28a, 11d and 14d. The south-east corner held out longest and a few of the parsings eluded me until I saw your notes but it all checks out so I feel educated 😁 Minor spoilery comments in the reply. Thanks!
