Thanks Catnip. A pretty solid workout for me. Smooth surfaces and cunning wordplay made for great misdirection. Needed a couple of letter reveals to make progress, but got there in the end. I particularly appreciated 5a, 18a, 26a, 2d, 14d, 16d among others. Your annotated solutions explain your thinking well and forestall most if not all possible objections. Thanks again!
