Thank you! I liked the theme very much, being a fan - which also got me well into the grid - and thought the long anagrams very fine. 16d and 24d also raised a smile. Two wee quibbles in the reply, if that's useful at all.

Thanks Chlorine. Despite only passing familarity with much of the theme I was eventually able to complete this albeit with some lucky guesses. Favourites included 11a, 12a, 25a, and 21d.
