Hi everyone. As this is my first attempt at anything quite like this, and I don't know quite how approachable it's going to be, some clues follow if you need them to get started. Spoilers follow:

Splendid effort, Catnip. You say it's your first time trying something like this - a fine success in my book. Faves include 13a, 15a, 28a, 3d, 5d, 19d, 21d and 24d. Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Super concept and executed admirably! One of those ideas I wish I’d thought of myself! I found a couple of the themers slightly trickier than the rest but that’s just me being dim, the clues all checked out. Thanks!

Great stuff, thanks Catnip. As others have said, this is an excellent (and novel) idea which you've implemented really well. I failed on a couple of themed solutions (7a and 18d) but knew which 12a they were so that's on me 🙂. Favourites were 11a (a lot of wordplay packed into that one!), 12a (always appreciated when the key clue is straightforward), 28a, 3d, 4d, 16d and 23d.
