Thanks Amoeba for an overall very fun and accomplished puzzle. Lot of ticks and, even though the NE was tough with several NHOs the clueing was great. Big ticks for 8a, 12a, 24a, 26a, 1d, 5d, 6d, 16d, 18d, 19d. A couple of minor spoilers...
