This was the puzzle I submitted for the fifteensquared get-together in York last weekend. Relatively little overlap between that group and MyC so I thought I'd put it up here as well.

Lovely, thanks. 10a, 13a, 21a, 5d, 6d, 7d and 15d were great. Favourites 8a and 17d, for the same reason. I think this was nicely balanced, with some pretty tough clues mixed with some that should have been relatively easy, but may not be in all cases. I confess, I got to a point where I had about half the grid, starts in all corners, and little confidence on my next steps. But I got there in the end.

Loved seeing this up on 225, and pleased to see some lovely comments there! I thought this particularly good, even for a PM, and some delightfully tricky yet satisfying constructions, my faves being 6a (neat), 11a (nice), 13a (very clean), 26a (fun and satisfying), 28a (smooth assembly), 1d (clever and satisfying), 2d (tricky but satisfying), 5d (nice construction), 6d (delightfully neat, lovely surface misdirect), 9d (likewise), 15d (lol), 17d (def buried very satisfyingly) and 22d (lovely def)

Very good. Liked the tricky definitions and the anagrams were great. Ticks for 6a, 16a, 23a, and 8a. Totally lost for GK with 26a. Thanks
