Nice one, Jaspa (or possibly Jaspri?), thanks! I thought this was quite a bit trickier than your standard fare but good fun nonetheless. Favourites: 9a, 19a, 28a, 4d, 23d and 26d. Spoilers…

Thanks Jaspa. Mostly a smooth solve, but I found the SE corner held me up a bit and didn't immediately parse 21a. My favourite was probably 26d, with 12a also nice. And I liked the devices you used in 9a, 20d and 22d.

Good clean fun with a cherry on top, thanks for another lovely Jaspa, Jaspa! While I am oddly psyched out by separated solutions, I must've been on your wavelength as I'd rate this a typical difficulty for you based purely on time to solve. Perhaps slightly fewer clues than your usual puzzle? Either way, lots to like, particularly 9a (very smooth), 10a (neat), 11a (very neat), 14a (clean), 15a (fun), 26a (smooth), 28a (fun), 1d/25d (clean), 4d (neat), 13d (neat), 18d (cute), 20d (fun) and...

Good fun, Jaspa. Lots of short words which suits your style very well. 16d/1a is very funny as an opener. Also likes for 10a, 12a, 24a, 1d/25d, 4d, 6d and 20d. This is how to show young pups that there's only one Jaspa! 😉 Thanks. PM

I really enjoyed this, Jaspa, with some lovely LOL moments and cute misdirections. A long list of likes included 9a,10a, 28a, 2d, 16a/1d, 18d, 22d, 26d. 12a in the sense used was an NHO, but I got it from crossers and 19d was another, but I had to reveal this to confirm. A couple of queries .... SPOILERS
