Love this! Didn't get 11d or 14d; never heard of 24d/22d. Favourite clues: 16a, 29a, 18d, 5d. Great job!

Thanks Laccaria, very enjoyable puzzle at a good level of difficulty (for me!). I liked the use of some more interesting indicators (e.g 10a, 12a). I also didn't know 24d/22d so had no chance with the CD. In particular I liked 20a, 29a and 26d for their surfaces

Enjoyed this - got several of them quickly but had to work harder with the rest. Didn't crack them all (I can at least say I knew about onion sellers on bikes, but not that they were Johnnys!) but they all made sense and were well clued when I looked at the notes.

Another fine puzzle. My favourites were 16a, 28a, 1d, 5d and 11d. One small point, I thought it might have been better to use another synonym for 'end' in 25a as it appears in the solution. Like Sheepish, I knew of the pedlars but didn't know what they were called. One to try and remember. Thanks Laccaria.

Great crossword - thanks Laccaria! I thought 16a was particularly good. I must also mention 4a and 5d among many ticks. I too had not heard of 24/22.

Thanks for this puzzle. I enjoyed it. My experience sounds similar to Sheepish. Favourites were 9a 29a 30a 5d and 19d
