Cryptic crossword No 1,265

Thanks Jeemz, that was quite the work-out! Pretty pleased with myself for not resorting to reveals until all I had left was a rather sparse NW corner. Some very ingenious clues in here. Bizarrely, all of my favourites are down clues: 2d (although it was one of the reveals!), 4d, 7d, 15d, 23d, 24d and 29d. Spoilers...

It feels like quite a while, Jeemz. This was a nice puzzle with a few defs that I found challenging. 26a in particular. Podium includes 2d (very cute and one of the last to fall), 5d, 19d , 23d and 29d (big podium). Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM
