Oh, well played! Good work! It took me a few clues to spot it but very impressive to keep us the good surfaces with that constraint. Loved 7a, 12a, 20a, 27a, 8d, 15d, 20d and 22d. Trademark sirdakka inventiveness all over the place. Bravo 👏

Nicely done Sir, although the detail of the theme was lost on me despite the picture, doh! As a result 16d was a bung. 6d was new to me but it had to be that from the clue. Favourites for me were 5a (brilliant) and 20d among some other very accomplished clueing.

Beautifully done, sirdakka, to keep the clues so fresh with the theme and grid design - and some fabulous individual clues in there too, favourites among which were 14a, 20a, 25a, 15d and 24d. Thanks!

Oh, well done Sirdakka! I knew you were playing with us but it was well worth the work. 13a, 20a, 25a, 28a, 20d were particular faves but it was all great.

Very interesting exercise, sirdakka, and I liked the variety of cluing device and the mix of surfaces, given your constraint. Reminded me of ODDS and EVENS. I applaud you keeping up the level of interest, given the potentially repetitive inclusion of your key words. Favourites include 5a, 13a, 17a, 20a, 27a, 2d, 6d, 9d, 18d, 20d and 22d. Well done and many thanks. PM

Thanks sirdakka - that’s great work and most impressive how you managed to play with the idea so consistently throughout whilst retaining your trademark wit and invention. My top picks were 5A, 12A, 20A, 23A, 28A, 2D, 18D, 20D, and 24D.

I got round to this a bit late sirdakka and no sooner have I finished it than there is another one. This was very clever I would have thought the repetition might be a grind but it remained varied so maintained the fun
