Most enjoyable quiptic, thanks Bees. I'm quite sure that's not your first crossword given the quality of the cluing and the cryptic grammar. Favourites include 12A (lol), 23A (for the accuracy!) 3D and 4D (very inventive cryptic instruction). SPOILERS in reply.

Welcome to MyC, Bees. This is a remarkable first full puzzle - really well done! Very impressive, tight and accurate clueing whilst maintaining an approachable level of difficulty, which is much harder than producing a difficult puzzle IMO. I particularly enjoyed 7A, 12A, 19A, 1D, 3D and 15D. Looking forward to your next one!

Hi there Bees and welcome to MyC. I enjoyed this a lot and had no quibbles of any significance. I enjoyed the coherent surfaces, the logic seemed pretty sound to me throughout and some of your constructions were most inventive. Favourites include: 7a, 10a, 14a, 23a, 25a, 1d, 4d, 8d, 9d and 21d. Very coherent surfaces and tight, satisfying clueing, with lots of favourites: 7a (neat and fun), 10a (clean), 12a (cute), 14a (clean), 19a (great fodder), 23a (neat), 25a (smooth), 26a (nice), 3d (neat), 5d (nice), 8d (neat), 9d (nice assembly), 17d (neat) and 21d (neat) - keep 'em coming!
