Thanks for the puzzle Pixlate, that was fun. Lots of satisfying parsings, particularly 5a/11a (very nice), 9a (neat), 10a (nice misleading def), 12a (smooth), 21a (lol), 26a (nice construction), 1d (neat), 3d (nice), 5d (clean), 16d (cute surface), 17d (neat) and 20d (nice) - nice one :)

An enjoyable one Pixlate. My only question marks were 5d (for the definition) and 16d (from a bard I thought was a stretch), but otherwise lots to like. 9a was neat, 21a I enjoyed (tut-tut :) ), 28a for the old you, 17d which had a nicely disguised definition and 20d for the different use of 'minute'. Thanks.
