Hi Sisyphus. That was great fun - I really liked the duelling themes and they made for an accessible way into the grid. NHO 7d (my cultural ignorance!) or the spelling of 19a but both nicely clued and gettable from crossers. As well as your direct theme words I particularly liked 14d, 26d (very neat definition) and my favourite, for the surface was 23a.

Thanks Sisyphus- that was challenging and had to end up revealing 7d, (perhaps name that gets forgotten!) Especially enjoyed 11a, 22a, 31a, and 24d. Clever theming.

Some great surfaces in this one, Sisyphus, although I found the puzzle quite tough and didn't quite finish. My favourites included 11a, 15a, 22a (very clever) and 23a (superb surface).

Thanks Sisyphus for the challenge. I found this more difficult than your last few and I eventually revealed 1a,1d, 9a, 22a (very clever!), and the nho 7d. I'm still in the dark about the SI but I saw bits of a theme in the grid. I did enjoy many of the clues including 23a, 29a, 31a, 32a, 2d, 5d, and 13d so it was still worthwhile 😄

Thank you for this Sisyphus. It took a while to see both themes (big "doh" moment), but mostly slotted into place thereafter. I liked 11a, 25a and 22d; kudos for 4d. I have to admit that 7d's unremembered name was unknown by me in the first place name – and that 17d tricked me into trying to combine taco & umami.
