Hi Sisyphus, nice puzzle and great theme words. Favorites were 1a, 4a, 22a and 25, love the definition in 16d (having done a bit of that myself, once!). Also loved 1d, though a tiny point below...

Hi Sisyphus, I spotted the theme for once which helped with a few of these. I didn't quite finish as I found this quite a bit more tricky than previous efforts of yours (that's on me, of course, not you). I especially liked 10a, 15a, 25a, 1d, 7d.

Hi Sisyphus, quite a bit of whimsy this week - which can be tricky to get right - but I think you've mostly pulled it off nicely! Also some clever oblique definitions such as in 2d and 26 Overall favourites were 11a, 22a, 1d, 6d. Oh and a special mention for the upset stomach :) Cheers!

Nice puzzle! Quite challenging for me but with some help from the theme and a lot looking things up I was able to finish it. The solutions to 12a, 15a, 17a, and 19d were words I didn't know before, which definitely added to the difficulty. My favorite clues were 22a, 16d, and 13a (despite seeming unfair if you don't know the reference).

Thanks Sisyphus. One of these days I'll be able to complete one of your puzzles but today was not going to be that day. I eventually revealed 13a, 17a, 6d, 8d, and 16d - pretty poor performance on my part. Nonetheless I had moments of fun with 21a, 25a, and 18d making my podium.

I found this one quite tricky, Sisyphus. I did not recognise some of the definitions. Ticks for 4a, 25a, 6d, 14d, 16d in particular. Thanks. PM

Sorry Sisyphus, I only managed 45% before reading your annotations. Too tough for me, I’m afraid. Thanks for explaining 13a to PM; I had absolutely no idea what was going on there!
