Cryptic crossword No 3,162

Hi icheath, you must enjoy putting these together because you've posted quite a few over the last weeks... but I think I'm echoing earlier feedback in saying you're perhaps sacrificing quality for quantity. The best clue here is 12a because it combines accurate cryptic reading with a believable surface reading - I can imagine my nose running for ages.
